My blog is CO2 neutral

Hello girls!

Today my blog is CO2 neutral . Several months ago I heard about this initiative but I could never find the time to publish it even though I had it written in my head.
How can a tree annul the carbon dioxide production of your blog?
How much CO2 does my blog produce? According to Dr. Alexander Wissner-Gross, a Harvard environmental and physical activist, a website produces an average of 0.02 grams of CO2 per visit. Calculating 15,000 page visits per month, this translates into 3.6 kg of CO2 per year. This production is mainly linked to the operation of the servers.
How much CO2 is absorbed by a tree?
It depends on many factors, but the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) estimates that a tree absorbs an average of 10 kg of CO2 every year. We estimate that your tree will absorb at least 5 kg per year.
A tree counteracts the carbon dioxide emissions of your blog, for a time corresponding to 50 years. From the calculation indicated above you can see how your blog produces at least 3.6 kg of C02 a year while a tree, at the same time, cancels 5 kg of CO2. If you help us to plant one, you can continue writing your blog for 50 more years.
Those who have been here for a while now know that I am signing up for all of these initiatives it costs us nothing to write a post and it serves more than what we believe, so if you have a little time or do not know what to write I encourage you to also join. All the information you will find here plants your tree next to you and in association with A German initiative that heads some reforestation works in different areas of the planet.
The project they have at the moment is being carried out in Göritz and the trees they are planting are oaks.
My blog is CO2 neutral And yours?
